Demi Chef De Partie


- Permanent
- Boon Tat Street
- Split shift, 5 Days work week including weekends and PH
- Up to $2300 + VB

Responsibilities: 

  • To deputies all the duty in absence of the Chef de Partie
  • To ensure all the superior instruction being follow up
  • To ensure all the comunication goes well and all information not breaks down in delivering the superior instruction to the team
  • Be required to be highly motivated and actively in taking initiative in the operation role
  • To ensure that all stocks are kept under optimum conditions.
  • To ensure that all mise-en-place is always freshly prepared and on time.
  • To ensure that all dishes are being prepared to the correct recipe and to the correct quantity.
  • To ensure that all dishes reach the hot plate are correctly garnished, the correct portion and size, presented on the prescribed serving dish in the prescribed manner.
  • To ensure that his section is being kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • To assist all the chefs in rolling the operation, cleanliness, inventory listing
  • To ensure that junior cooks and trainees receive the right training and optimum guidance.
  • To ensure that any anticipated shortages are communicated promptly to the chef de parties or sous chef or head chef.
  • To ensure that no horseplay is allowed in his section and that all staff under his control are treated fairly and with courtesy.
  • To deputise in the chef de partie’s absence and take charge of the kitchen when directed to do so.
  • To attend training courses and seminars as and when required.
  • To strive to study management subjects in preparation for future advancement.
  • The above main duties or not exhaustive, and there may be additional/other ad-hoc duties deemed fit by the management

  • Permanent

 

Location: 

  • Telok Ayer, Boon Tat Street

 

Working hours: 

  • 5 Days work week including weekends and PH
  • 9-10 hours per schedule (split shift including weekend)

Salary: 

  • Up to $2300 + VB

 

Requirements: 

  • Min. 1 year of experience in kitchen work required.
  • Able to work on rotating shifts, weekends and on public holidays.
  • Pro-active, keen to learn, self-motivated and the ability to work independently.
  • Candidates who can start immediately will be at an advantage.
  • Graduates from Culinary Institutes are welcomed.
