Robotics Principal Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Architect software system solution for autonomous ground robots for outdoor & indoor applications

• Plan and lead the team implementing perception algorithms based on Lidar, vision, sonar, radar  

• Design and develop mapping, localization, and pose estimation algorithms based on Lidar, vision, IMU for outdoor and indoor environment

• Perform system evaluation, testing and commissioning at Customer’s site

• Document & validate the system design & development processes

Period:

• Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

• PhD/MSc/BEng in Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Computer/ Software Engineering/ Robotics Engineering

• At least 5 years of work experiences in software/robotics system design & development

• Strong in  C++ development on Linux Platforms

• Experience with ROS, OpenCV, Point Cloud Library, Matlab, CMake, OpenGL, gdb

• Familiar in computer vision (Multi-view geometry, SLAM, features extraction) is a plus point

• Experience in SCRUM and Agile Methodologies

• Creative personality and ability to motivate the team member

• A good decision maker with sound technical judgement

• A good communicator and committed to project deliverables

• Forward looking to technology/idea implementation
