Marine Electrician

Job Responsibilities

1. Repair or replace wiring equipment or fixtures
2. Examine electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices like ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes
3. Use power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment
4. Diagnose faulty systems or parts, using equipment and hand tools to find the reason for a breakdown
5. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or parts to spot hazards or defects
6. Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to see the placement of wiring or equipment
7. Perform routine and annual maintenance
8. Any other duty required by Supervisor/Manager

Period

• 2 years renewable outsourced contract 

Location

• Based in Changi but will be working in both Tuas (Feeder bus from Joo Koon MRT) and Changi (Feeder bus from Simei MRT)
• If required to work at other sites, transport reimbursement will be provided.

Working hours

• Monday to Friday, 8AM – 5.30PM

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics or equivalent
• Have prior experience in electronics field
• Good to have some troubleshooting experience
• Physically fit and willing to work under the sun
• Team player
• Meticulous
• Comfortable to travel to Changi
