Assistant Service Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Assistant Service Engineer, to support our maintenance team in ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery and equipment. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong technical foundation and is eager to learn and grow within a maintenance engineering environment. You will assist with routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs while ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Support in Maintenance & Repairs: Assist senior engineers in routine maintenance tasks and repairs on equipment
• Troubleshooting Assistance: Aid in diagnosing and addressing minor issues promptly to reduce downtime
• Preventive Maintenance Execution: Help carry out scheduled preventive maintenance e tasks to keep equipment in optimal condition
• Documentation & Reporting: Record maintenance activities accurately, including repairs, replacements, and inspections, under the guidance of senior engineers
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and regulations; actively maintain a safe working environment
• Inventory Support: Assist in managing spare parts inventory, notifying senior staff of low stock and needed reorders
• Collaboration with Team Members: Work closely with the maintenance and production teams to complete tasks and support the overall maintenance strategy

Period:

• 2 years contract (renewable & convertible)
   

Location: 

• Ang Mo Kio

Working Hours:

• Mon to Fri: 8.30 am - 6 pm

Salary:

• Up to $3,600

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering / Higher Nitec in Engineering

• Ability to diagnose and repair complex systems
• Able to adapt and work under tight schedules
• Good communication skills for effective interaction with customers
• Strong analytical skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions
• Possess Class 3 driving license
• Singaporeans only
