L2 Security Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyse problems, perform troubleshooting, and track problems through resolution
• Responsible for monitoring activities, such as security and bandwidth usage 
• When necessary, escalate problems to the appropriate stakeholders / principals 
• Ensure generation and management of support tickets according to SLA requirements 
• Schedule and run periodic maintenance for security infrastructure at the data centre 
• Plan and manage change request and / or maintenance activities for security operations including firmware patches 
• Ensuring zero service level breaches and achieve 100% compliance with policy and procedure 
• Perform Change Request, Service Request as assigned by team lead according to the SLA 
• Offsite standby after office hours

Period:

• 1-year outsourced contract (renewable & convertible depends on performance and business needs)

Location:

• Ang Mo Kio

​Working hours:

• Mon – Fri; 8:30am – 6pm

Salary:

• $4800 to $5500 + Offsite Standby Allowance $200

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 3 year of experience in security administration.
• Relevant Certification on IT Security is highly preferable.​

Special Knowledge or Skills:

• Experience in systems administration (window/Linux) would be a plus 
• Able to handle demanding service response and recovery turnaround 
• Provide daily support team to meet stringent SLA requirements 
• Meticulous and process-oriented 
• Good, hardworking attitude with ability to work well under pressure 
• Good communication skills in English (written, spoken) to liaise with native English-speaking clients
• Good Teamwork 
• Good analytical skills with ability to work with others to resolve problems 
• Good organization skills, with ability to properly document and track information 
• ITIL certification will be an advantage
• Good Knowledge of following products will be advantageous: Beyond Trust, SEPM, RSA, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortigate and Safenet
