Part-Time Staff for Adhoc Events and Membership Recruitment

Responsibilities:

1.Event Support:

  • Assist in the setup, execution, and teardown of events.
  • Provide logistical support, including registration, crowd management, and troubleshooting.
  • Distribute materials such as brochures, flyers, or merchandise during events.

2.Membership Recruitment:

  • Engage with potential members to provide information about the organization's programs and benefits.
  • Guide individuals through the membership sign-up process.
  • Collect and manage membership applications and related data accurately.
  • Conduct renewals for existing members.

3. Customer Engagement:

  • Represent the organisation professionally while interacting with members and the public.
  • Address inquiries and help ensure a positive experience.

4.Administrative Support:

  • Assist in documenting event details and compiling feedback post-event.
  • Manage inventory of event materials and report usage.

 

Duration:

  •  Part-time

 

Location:

  • Island-Wide (will share during interview)

 

Working Hours:

  • Weekday Evenings (6:30pm to 9:30pm) and Weekends (Ad hoc Basis - flexible timing depending on events, otherwise based on a 5-hour block, e.g., 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM)

 

Salary:

  • $10 - $15

Requirements:

  • Minimum O-level
  • Proficient in English in order to liaise with native English-speaking clients.
  • Ability to converse in Tamil/ Bengali/ Mandarin/ Thai or Burmese will be an advantage, as the role requires communication with clients who speak these languages.
  • Familiarity with basic Microsoft applications such as MS Forms and MS Word.
  • Positive disposition and approachable personality.
  • Comfortable working with migrant brothers.
  • Keen interest in sales and engaging with people.
  • Available to work weekday evenings and weekends.​
