Assistant Accountant

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the candidate is responsible for all aspects of client accounting, including:

1) Preparation of financial statements and full sets of accounts,

2) Liaising with clients and auditors to complete annual audit of companies

3) Assisting clients on banking services with various local and foreign banks including preparation of Telegraphic transfers (T.T.)

4) Preparation of corporate tax returns and Good and Services Tax (GST) returns

5) Billing and invoicing

6) Collections / Accounts receivables

7) Mail forwarding services

8) Answering enquiries from clients & related parties pertaining to statutory requirements

9) Other administrative and ad-hoc duties

Period:

• Permanent

Location: 

• Raffles Place

Working Hours:

• Mon to Fri 9am to 6pm (Flexible. If want to come/go 30 mins earlier, just work the 8 hours accordingly)

Salary:

• Up to $4000 + Min 1 month bonus

Requirements:

• University Graduate in a relevant field and/or Professional Accounting Designation preferred

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in client accounting

• Knowledge of MYOB and XERO accounting software

• Computer literate (Windows 10, Microsoft Word/Excel, Internet/Email)

• Willing to learn, responsible and hardworking
