Coach cum Curriculum Specialist (Mathematics)

Responsibilities:

•  Conduct engaging Primary & Secondary School Maths lessons, effectively managing and motivating students to reach their full potential.
• Tailor coaching methods to meet the diverse competency levels of students, providing individualized support and guidance.
• Assess and monitor student progress, set improvement goals, and provide constructive feedback.
• Design, prepare, and deliver lessons that enhance learners’ understanding of Maths, ensuring a solid grasp of basic knowledge and techniques.
• Develop, prepare, and vet teaching materials, as well as plan and create teaching resources.
• Mark assignments and manage students' portfolios, including academic evaluations.
• Establish rapport with students and parents, effectively communicating students' academic progress and addressing concerns.
• Conduct curriculum research and analysis based on Thinker and MOE syllabus requirements.
• Design, edit, and create effective and comprehensive teaching materials, incorporating the latest trends in education.
• Upload and tag online learning materials onto the Thinker online learning platform.
• Present new discoveries and insights during team meetings and sharing sessions, fostering collaboration and the exchange of ideas.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Working Hours:

• Tuesdays to Fridays: 12pm - 9.30pm; Saturdays: 8.30am - 6.30pm

Salary:

• Up to $4,500

Requirements:

• Degree majoring in Mathematics preferred
• Able to speak fluent English to communicate with students
