Job Description:

As a Health Informatics Officer (HIO), you will assist the Chief and Deputy Medical Informatics Officers in the planning and execution of the clinical information systems to support patient care, research and education. In this managerial role, you will:

  • participate in activities required for successful design, implementation, maintenance and support of the clinical systems.
  • work closely with other stakeholders and IT to develop and implement solutions that meet users’ requirements for clinical orders, medication administration and documentation and data exchange between various healthcare systems and departments.
  • oversee the change management process of the clinical information systems and help create awareness and promote high adoption rate of the clinical information systems; develop training materials and provide training for users, troubleshoot software, implementation and training issues

Last but not least, you will need to ensure that the policies and procedures related to the electronic medical records (EMR) system are updated and aligned with cluster and national policy and guidelines as well as participate in Institution/Cluster committees for Informatics projects/initiatives and provide secretariat support for such projects and meetings.

  • Mon to Fri. From: 8.30am to 6pm

 

Salary:

  • Up to $8000 + AWS + VB

 

Location:

  • Near Outram Park MRT

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.  Applicants with major in Health Informatics, Healthcare Management, Information System or related disciplines would have an advantage
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, working with clinical information systems and IT project management and/or relevant certification such as in Health Informatics or equivalent is preferred but not essential
  • Able to work independently and with different stakeholders
  • Possess strong problem-solving, organisational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
