Executive Assistant (Finance, Revenue Collections)


- 6 months contract
- up to $2800 + bonus
- Kallang
- Office hours

Responsibilities:

  • Adhoc utilities and miscellaneous payments
    • Carry out receipting for payments made by customers for miscellaneous bills.
    • Follow up on cheque payments with exceptions including cheques with insufficient payment details, cheques written wrongly and dishonoured cheques.
    • Perform data entry of payments made by customers where there is no automated file interface to the billing systems e.g. bank transfers.
    • Arrange to seek reimbursement from welfare agencies for vouchers posted to customers’ utilities accounts.
  • Recurring payments
    • Follow up on exceptions arising from:
      • set-up of recurring payment arrangements;
      • termination of recurring payment arrangements;
      • collections through recurring payment arrangements.
  • All payments
    • Follow up on any payment exceptions posted to the clarification worklist.
    • Reconcile customers’ payments made through various payment modes against entries in the billing systems as well as the bank statements.
  • Refunds
    • Process refunds to customers via manual modes, namely foreign currency demand drafts.
    • Reconcile and follow up on exceptions arising from refunds to customers via automated modes namely, cheque or bank transfer.
  • Other duties
    • Respond to enquiries from customers on matters relating to their payment or refund.
    • Follow up with collection agents on payment related matters.
    • Perform User Acceptance Tests for system changes.
    • Cover the duties of the other EAs where necessary.
    • Carry out other ad-hoc duties when required.

 

Period:

  • 6 months

 

Location:

  • Kallang

 

Working Hours:

  • 8.30am to 6pm, Mon to Fri

 

Salary:

  • up to $2800 + bonus

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
  • Be able to commit to a full-time work in office role for 6 months
  • Proficiency in MS office skills including Excel is required
  • To have a positive attitude in learning
  • Punctuality and good attendance are required
