Operation Risk Officer

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure that respective departments undertake the appropriate and necessary action in response to Head Office's new/change in regulations instructions/direction.
• Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of any new products, new transactions, or new technologies by evaluating the impact on any operational risk of the Branch including legal, compliance, AML, and tax risk.
• The interface between users and the IT Department ensures users’ requirements are adequately judged and fulfilled by evaluating the accuracy and impact on operational risk and reasonableness of users’ requirements.
• Facilitate and support BCP exercise and stress test, if any, reviewing impact on operational risk and workflow.
• Check and confirm all new / amended and background of deletion of Branch Procedures Manuals and conduct Branch-wide annual review and improve procedure organization of Branch.
• Investigate and recommend on any operation-related issues, e.g., improvement of efficiency, resolving gridlock in workflow, etc.
• Follow-up all MAS / HO/ External / Internal – audit/inspection findings and ensure that issues are being settled appropriately and manage periodical submission to Internal Auditor.

• Permanent

Working Hours:

• Mon – Fri; 8.50AM – 5.30PM

Salary:

• Up to S$8,000 + VB

Location:

• Near Raffles MRT

Requirements:

• Min bachelor’s degree with 5 to 6 years of experience in operational risk management in the corporate banking environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and presentation skills
