Accounts Executive (AP)

Job Responsibilities:

• Processes vendor invoices including PO-based invoices, non-PO-based invoices and noninvoice payment requests
• Processes intercompany invoices 
• Ensures invoices are timely and accurately processed • Ensure appropriate authorisation, payment details and other necessary details
• Processes payments for all method of payments including manual cheques, outsource cheques, giro-interbank transfers and telegraphic transfers
• Processes petty cash float request from petty cash custodian
• Ensures all payments made are captured
• Processes payments on behalf
• Processes staff expense claims
• Processes travel advances
• Prepare Accounts Payable month-end schedule for AP-related accounts as per balance sheet such as AP aging, Accrual-GR/IR Clearing and other AP-related accounts
• Ensures completeness of manual or computerized cheques recorded timely
• Responds to queries from vendors
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned 

Salary:

• Up to $4000 

Working Hours: 

• Mon to Fri, 8.30am to 6pm

Period: 

• 1 year contract

Location: 

• CBD Area

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in computerized accounting environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• Possesses integrity & accounting professionalism
• Resourceful with a keen analytical mind
• Self-driven and able to work independently under tight schedules
