Manager, Group Control & Accounts (Compliance)

Job Descriptions:

  • Ensure adequacy and effectiveness of operational and financial controls and follow up to ensure that any actions required are completed on a timely basis
  • Update Finance Policies and Procedures to keep abreast with the regulatory, legal changes and practical challenges
  • Support trainings on the Finance Policies & Procedures
  • Identify ways of streamlining processes for efficiency
  • Support the drive in Enterprise Risk Framework
  • Prepare periodic reports to management and carry out ad hoc projects assigned
  • Interface between Internal audit and management
  • Support the compliance with the group policy and to communicate such compliance requirements to the subsidiaries
  • Provide guidance to the local teams on policies, procedures and compliance matters
  • Part of investigation team for any whistleblowing incidents
  • Involve in various key systems that requires finance inputs on

  • Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 6.00 pm

 

Salary

  • up to $7000

 

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy and/or professional qualifications (ACCA or “CPA Singapore”) in Accounting
  • At least 3 years’ relevant working experience
  • Audit experience and/or other relevant commercial experience
  • Preferably with real estate or hospitality background
  • Knowledge of SAP/Property Management system /Oracle/Cognos Consolidation System will be an advantage
  • Regional exposure will be an advantage and ability to travel
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are pre-requisites
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate high level of integrity, resourcefulness, strong leadership qualities, technical, interpersonal and communication skills
