Cloud Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Operational support Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform & Alicloud environments (Administration / Patch / Inventory / Security / Reporting)
• Active Directory and Microsoft components support (ADFS / WAP / DHCP / DNS / SMTP / Etc.)
• Support of all tooling / applications under Cloud teams scope of work
• Involved in both global / Regional projects management and implementation 
• Work closely with vendors and other teams for both BAU and project delivery / support
• Level 1 support for SG Datacenter

Period:

• Contract, 1 year, Renewable

Working Hours:

• Mon to Fri, 8:30am to 5:30pm

Salary: 

• Up to $6,000

Location: 

• Telok Ayer

Requirements:

2-3 years of working experience supporting the following cloud environments, with hands on involvement in cloud operations and project implementation

- Microsoft Azure
- Google Cloud (Primary)
- Alicloud
Technical Knowledge :
1) Active Directory / Azure Active Directory (added advantage with knowledge in ADFS / MIM / MSSQL DB)
2) DNS / DHCP / SSL certificates / SMTP (Mandatory)
3) Scripting (added advantage with knowledge in Powershell / Terraform / Python)
4) Microsoft O365 administration
5) Akamai CDN / WAF 
6) Citrix VPN 
7) IT Security vulnerability assessment and remediation
8) Microsoft Azure Management (Mandatory)
- Virtual Machines (Windows / Linux)
- Virtual Networks (including Firewalls / Load Balancers / Network routing / ExpressRoute etc...)
- PaaS (App Services / Managed DB / Redis / etc...)
- Storage (Blob / Containers)
- Monitoring / Alerts
- Backup (Native)
- Patch Management (Native)
- Log Analytics (Native)
- Disaster Recovery (Native)
9) Google Cloud Management (Mandatory)
- IAM Roles
- GCE
- GKE (added advantage with knowledge in GKE / Istio / Docker)
- VPC / Shared VPCs (including Firewalls / Private Service Networks / Load Balancers / Network routing / Interconnect / etc...)
- Cloud SQL
- Bigquery (added advantage with knowledge in Bigquery / Datasets / Views)
- Storage
- Monitoring / Alerts (Native)
- Backup (Native)
- Patch Management (Native)
- Log Analytics (Native)
- Disaster Recovery (Native)
General Skills :
1) IT Audit reviews (Evidence gathering / Remediation)
2) Project Management (Involvement in projects)

4) IT Standard Operational Procedures (Request / Change / Incident Management)

6) Some knowledge in management of on premise hardware (Break fix for IBM / HP servers / EMC storage / Tape Libraries / etc...)
