Job Responsibilities:
• Manage the Procurement Managers (PM) on their day-to-day purchasing management operations
• Oversee the Procurement Executives (PE) on their purchasing functions
• Oversee the processes for Tender & Request for Quotations
• Understand the customer’s requirements to ensure fulfilment service levels and key performance indicators
• Lead the budget settings & savings target set by management & customers
• Approve Tenders, Request for Quotations, Purchase Requests, Orders & Reports
• Lead the discussions with other departments and vendors on supply related matters
• Lead the negotiation on contracts and supply related matters
• Oversee the fulfilment of purchase orders
• Oversee the vendor performance and contract management
• Oversee the supply risk management and supply resiliency plan
• Oversee the sourcing & development of new vendors, supply & production sources
• Lead the controls & optimisation of the inventory, ageing stock & stock obsolescence
• Lead the vendor & factory qualification exercises at production source
• Lead any emergency procurement to meet urgent requirements
▪ Source and arrange training courses & seminars related to purchasing & inventory management for PMs & PEs
▪ Oversee the department’s human resource and administrative matters
▪ Oversee workplace Safety and Health (WSH) activities to ensure personal compliance to requirements.

Requirements:
• Degree in any discipline
• Procurement Management of at least 8 to 10 years of experience
• Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word & Powerpoint) or any applications related to roles / job
• Comfortable working in warehouse environment occasionally
• Comfortable to work at inconvenient locations
