Job Responsibilities:

LECTURER SUPPORT

  1. Send reminders to lecturers and course coordinators before the lecturer meeting date
  2. Usher lecturers and trip takers to the meeting room
  3. Fill out lecturers' meeting forms for all programs and send to the attendees
  4. Provide support for Lecturer Induction - book room & send invite
  5. Send lecturers admin guides to local lecturers and trip takers
  6. Check visiting classes during office hours to make sure classes start smoothly ( to share this task with staff as there are many classes to check and support every day)
  7. Answer emails and phone calls from lecturers and course coordinators

             

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

  1. Arrange collection of hardcopy textbook by local lecturers
  2. Check all course guides and course materials have been uploaded on Canvas (full sets for the 12 weeks)

              

LECTURER DEPLOYMENT

  1. Clean up internal registration records (make sure all registered lecturers' names are in the tracking list)
  2. Follow up with local lecturers to accept/reject E-contract

             

ASSESSMENT

  1. Fill out assessment setup summary and key into system for all programmes

             

STUDENT SUPPORT

  1. Generate and liaise with lecturers for reference letters (ad hoc)
  2. Coordinate academic workshops and send out student communications, send feedback report to trainers
  3. Answer general CRM enquiries
  4. Send student communications on evaluation/other student support activities (e.g. Promotion of career initiatives, etc)
  5. Schedule career talks during class time

             

OTHERS

  1. Cleaning up of cubicles and cabinets - shred documents, send for off-site storage, scan documents, etc
  2. Prepare simple reports, eg. number of classes to open/close/cancel, compile workshop attendance
  3. Other duties assigned by supervisor

 

Assignment Duration:

  • 3 Jan to 3 Feb 2023

 

Hourly Rate:

  • $11/hr

 

Working Hours:

  • Mon to Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm

 

Location:

  • Clementi

 

Experience/Skills:

  • Minimum A Level or Diploma­ with 1 year of work experience, good written and oral communication, eye for details, able to learn fast
  • Familiar with Microsoft office applications, eg. Word & Excel, as well as video conferencing softwares
