Permanent Assistant/Commercial Manager

• 5 days work week: 7.25am-5pm
• Up to $6,000

Job Responsibilities:

  • To make accurate and realistic estimation for jobs as required in tender bid to secure vessels for repair and conversion work.
  • To lead and provide coaching to commercial executives.
  • Source for subcontractors for specialized jobs and complex work.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed invoicing to achieve fair and better contribution margin.
  • Liaise with Ship Repair Manager and Project Supervisor on all quoted and additional jobs.
  • Discuss invoices of completed projects with Owner’s Representative.
  • Assess subcontractor’s invoices, discuss with relevant parties, and conclude bill settlement within the target.

  • Permanent

 

Location:

  • Tuas / Benoi (Island-wide transport provided)

 

Working Hours:

  • 5 days work week: 7.25am-5pm

 

Salary:

  • $3,500 -$6,000


Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 6 years of working experience in Commercial or Estimation with min. 1 year in supervisory role
  • Good negotiation skills
