Service Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
 

• Provide technical support to sales on product specification, technical, problem and demo setup for Multi-Functional Printer (Copier), Interactive Whiteboard (IWB) and Interactive Display Panel (IDP).
• Conduct testing and evaluation on existing and new printer models.
• Perform installation and provide technical trainings to Sales and Technical team members, customers, local System Integrator (SI), service contractors and local and overseas distributors.
• Provide after-sales support for technical enquiries.
• Application and renewal of safety registration for Business Equipment products.
• Conduct rework and inspection for defect product(s).
• Preparation of report and feedback on machine quality to HQ and/or Factory.
• Processing of Parts Procurement with Japan Parts Centre (JPC).
• Provide support on field general service completion, field escalated machine service problems and etc.
• Support on sales related enquires from new prospects (print Samples, machine capability and specifications)
• Submission of certification on new machine model.
• Perform scheduled parts cycle count.

Period:

• 1 year (renewable)

Location:

• Islandwide

Working Hours:

• Mon to Fri: 8.45am to 5.15pm

Salary:

• Up to $3,500 + VB + Allowance

Requirements:

• Possess minimum Diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in related field is preferred.
• Sound IT knowledge in software.
• Strong product knowledge in IDP and IWB.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer Service oriented.
• Structured and organised approach with attention to detail.
• Resilient, adaptable and the ability to remain focused.
• Able to work independently and make decisions, escalating where and when necessarily and appropriately.
