Head of Project Management Hardware

Job Responsibilities:

• Align annual individual targets with assigned employees according to overall targets, discuss targets achievement half a year and discuss feedback of round table evaluation end of the year. Maintain personnel development plan for assinged employees to increase project management capabilities in terms of effectiveness and efficiency.
• Monitor progress of assigned projects according to its targets and manage related Project Manager based on 3C 'consultation, collaboration and communication'. - Secure fact-based status reporting, identify need for action and initiate counter measures for involved functions within the range of approved budget.
• Orchestrate assigned projects overall under consideration of defined prioritization in order to achieve overall targets. Identify need fo action overall, plan corrective measures and scenarios for implementation. Initiate decisions inclusively related changes on features, quality, timeline, budget, resources and production cost. Secure excecution of decisions.
• Administrate preparation of frequently project related meetings and deliverables: Monthly reporting, technical reviews, project summary report, resource constraint meeting, annual budget planning, contribution to preparation of new projects regarding estimation of budget, timeline and resources.
• Keep relationship to interface partners in Hardware Development, Procurement, Production Modules, Machine Assembly, System Acceptance, Service, Quality Management, Project Management, Product Management, Systems Engineering and external Engineering Suppliers
   

Salary:

• Up to 10k + AWS + VB

Working Hours: 

• Mon – Fri, 8.30am – 6pm

Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ experience within Machine and/or Automation Industry, Industrial Equipment Manufacturing, Engineering Services
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or similar, Project Management Certification e.g. IPMA/GPM, PMI, Prince2 or similar
• Capabilities:
  - Drive and energy: Strong initiative, especially to take counter measures in case of unexpected events
  - Focus and execute: Analytical skills, result orientation, distinctive organizational skills, fortune and intuition
  - Impact and energize: Consultation, collaboration, factual audience-oriented communication
  - Guide and passion: Cross-functional and inter-cultural networking
