Job Responsibilities:
- To support IT security function with the goal of information Confidentiality, Availability and Integrity
- IT Security Operations - Administration of security tools, analyzing suspicious events, review and execute user requests, assess software / hardware / cloud services for security vulnerabilities, recommend and implement security controls, and incident handling
- IT Security Awareness - To promote IT Security Awareness amongst colleagues include conducting awareness training, administering the security awareness platform (online training and phishing simulation), and communicating security announcements and best practices.
- Vendor Management - Liaise with the Security Operations Centre (SOC) on identifying security alerts, escalation procedures, types and content of monthly reports, and amendments to SOC playbook.
- IT Policy and Compliance - To regularly review IT policies and procedures, and propose changes where appropriate. To facilitate compliance activities including audit coordination and follow-up, understanding and monitoring compliance to legislation and customer requirements, and communicating security controls to relevant stakeholders
- Security Projects - To participate and manage the implementation of IT Security projects including project funding, evaluation of solutions, procurement, deployment and documentation

- Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related discipline.
- Preference will be given to candidates with relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+ etc.
- 3 to 5 years in an IT Security related role, with experience in implementation and administration of security tools.
- Good understanding of information security principles and IT infrastructure including operating systems, applications, communications and network protocols.
- Strong analytical mind and problem solving skills.
- Ability to assess security threats and vulnerabilities against the potential impact.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision, and able to work well in teams.
- Possess initiative and be self-motivated, with a thirst for knowledge and a willingness to learn.
- Enthusiasm towards emerging technologies and how these can impact the organization.
- Be sympathetic towards constraints and ability to negotiate a compromise.
- Ability to communicate and convince stakeholders from various levels and backgrounds.
