Responsibilities:
- To provide office hour support in 1 location, and rotating offsite standby required. Occasionally will need to work during weekend.
- Assisting the Customer in the verification, isolation and/or provision of a temporary work around for the incident/problem logged.
- Resolving the incident/problem onsite.
- Escalating unsolvable problems and service requests to the System and/or Software Engineer and reporting the escalation to the Operation/Project Manager.
- Generating the relevant administrative records and reports.
- Introducing and integrating new technologies into existing environments.
- Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
- Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
- Answering technical queries
- Maintaining the configuration of the system.
- To implement Service Request and Change Request.
- Contacting OEM/Vendor/subcontractor for technical support.
- Focus on Windows OS patches and monitoring and resolving SCOM alerts.

- Monday – Friday (8.30am to 5.30pm)
Salary:
- Up to $7,500
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent, although consideration will be given to experience and certifications in lieu of degree.
- Minimum 2 to 4 years IT experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as a System engineer within the operations environment.
- Past working experience in Cloud environment is an advantage.
- Able to handle demanding service response and recovery turnaround.
- Able to manage daily support tasks to meet stringent SLA requirements.
- Excellent scheduling and multitasking skills
- Meticulous and process-oriented.
- Good, hard-working attitude with ability to work well under pressure.
- Good communication skills English (written, spoken).
- Good analytical skills with ability to work with others to resolve problems.
- Good organization skills, with ability to properly document and track information.
- Preferably with Microsoft Certification and/or ITIL certification.
- Dynamic, customer oriented, experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Good Knowledge of following products will be advantageous: Active Directory/DNS, Microsoft SCOM, Microsoft Azure Stack, Microsoft Windows 2008-2019, Commvault Backup and Recovery, mCafee Anti-virus, Good understanding of server, storage and networking concept.
