Senior/ IT Operation Specialist (Infrastructure)

1. Provide technical expertise to evaluate, recommend and implement new technologies and cloud services to help improve IT operations.
2. Provide level 2/3 support (setup, configure and troubleshoot) for server systems in Windows platform and network systems.
3. Working with outsource vendors to:

i. Monitor, diagnose and resolve problems with key IT systems ensuring systems work efficiently.

ii. Ensure high availability of services through regular server and network maintenance.

iii. Ensure server, network systems and end-user PCs are well secured and protected.

iv. Ensure security patches for operating systems, servers and network devices are implemented (Test and deploy) timely by –

a. Perform regular backup audit to ensure all system and data are properly backup.

b. Analyze critical logs, investigate, and troubleshoot technical issues.

c. Perform and participate in capacity planning, redundancy planning and execution of Disaster Recovery Plan.

d. Ongoing assessment of new threads and improve on computing security.

e. Maintain adequate IT documentations, covering infrastructure, inventory, service subscriptions and contracts.

f. Work with external service providers to implement new projects or upgrades.

Experiences

1. Experienced in Server Virtualization technologies.

2. Hands on knowledge in Firewall, Router, VLANs and routing protocols.

3. Experienced in Windows and Linux Servers.

4. Experienced in complex secured network design, VPN and WLAN implementation.

5. Experienced in managing enterprise-level anti-virus solutions.

6. Some experience in hybrid-cloud environment.

• upto $5000 + AWS + VB

Requirements

1. Diploma/Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

2. Minimum three (3) years of relevant working experience.

3. Knowledge in DMZ, Cyber Security, server hardening and firewall administration.

4. Able to configure secured Internet services with methods/protocol such as HTTPS, SSH Tunneling, SFTP, L2TP/IPsec, etc.

5. Familiar with data storage systems, NAS devices, LTO devices and data backup operations on multiple File Systems.

6. Enthusiasm for problem-solving and able to work in fast-pace environment.

7. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively.

8. CCNA (Routing and Switching) or equivalent certification.

9. Cyber Security certification such as CEH, CISM or CISSP is an advantage.

10. Preference will be given to candidates who are available immediately or within short notice.

11. Candidates with more years of experience will be considered a senior position.
