Job Descriptions:

• Perform maintenance tasks onboard vessels (mainly in harbor)
• Perform maintenance works onboard vessels in shipyard occasionally
• Perform maintenance works on shore based systems
• Perform defect troubleshoot till module/card level onboard vessels or shore based systems
• Perform repairs to modules and PCBA in workshop
• Perform installation/removal work for equipment/systems
• Perform refurbishment of electronics unit/assemblies
• Perform technical admin work including quotations, closing jobs, service reports, etc.

Period:

• 12 Months Renewable Contract

Location:

• Changi Naval Base

Working Hours:

•  Monday to Friday – 8.30am to 5.30pm

Salary

•  Up to $5,000

Job Requirements:

• Able to work overtime when necessary
• Able to remain contactable 24/7
• ITE/Diploma/Degree on Electronics Engineering/Telecommunication Engineering/ Digital and Network Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering
• Aerospace Engineering certifications with Electronics Engineering modules may also apply
• Working knowledge and experience working in on-board commercial and military vessels on Intercommunication, Maritime Radio systems, Radars, Navigation Aids and Electronics systems
• Window or Linux OS administration (installation and troubleshooting) experience
• Working knowledge and experience on computer systems
• Understanding maintenance regime and basic experience in troubleshooting system till card level.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair PCBA or modules to component level
• Good interpersonal skill
• Good team work and discipline
