Network Specialist cum Technical Support

• Configure & trouble-shoot LAN and WAN network topology, Window OS, Window Servers, Linux, CISCO equipment (hubs, routers, switches, controllers, wifi access point), CCTV or related networking equipment
• Configure security settings or access permissions on network equipment for groups or individuals
• Evaluate LAN & WAN performance, to ensure sufficient availability or speed, to identify network problems, or for disaster recovery purposes
• Identify the causes of networking problems, using diagnostic testing software and equipment
• Analyze network data to determine network usage, routine equipment maintenance, disk space availability, or server function
• Source and procurement of network related equipment, make justification on your choice of selection
• Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage to change priorities
• Diploma or degree in computer science or related field or a combination of related experience and education

Portfolio:

• You should have at least 5 - 7 years of experience in networking installation, trouble-shooting & configuration related experiences, preferably within education services domain
• This position requires to be very efficient and very hands-on technologies skills personnel in order to be successful in the job
• Provide application training and support end-users requirements including helpdesk
• Strong project management skills with effective results focus
• Strong business analytical and problem-solving skills within an information systems environment
• Experience in the developing documentation, policies, implementation of standards, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes and supporting users in UAT
