Job Descriptions:

  • Responsible for strategic leadership and P&L ownership of the company’s fast-growing, online and offline businesses.
  • In charge of the company’s overall sales forecast, monitor revenue achievements against targets and adjust sales plans/territory strategies accordingly
  • Create and drive sales strategies and action plans that ladder up to meet the overall business objectives and growth targets.
  • Lead and manage a sales team responsible for all aspects of strategic sales management, distribution, regional sales, channel management and direct sales.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales function to reach its full potential in terms of sales and profitability
  • Work closely with Marketing and Technology teams to develop customer acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Develop key partnerships, relationships and alliances with strategic retail partners and wholesale distributors to build market share
  • Establish, maintain and grow executive-level relationships with key decision makers and market drivers.
  • Help lead and coach the team in qualifying prospects according to capabilities by developing and managing the execution of the sales process and leveraging appropriate resources to secure sales.
  • Assume leadership and ownership of presentations, proposals, forecasts etc.
  • Oversee, track and improve collection of payments.

  • Choice of any 8 hours between 8.30am – 10.30pm

 

Salary

  • Up to $9,500 with variable bonus 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in Sales or Account Management role, preferably for a consumer product company selling direct to large, national retailers.
  • Able to show a strong proven track record in sales achievements, market expansion and wholesaler/retail account management.
  • Knowledge in collectibles, toys, pop-culture, entertainment properties are a plus.
  • High-level strategic thinker who has a solid understanding of business strategy, channel sales strategy and direct sales strategy.
  • Able to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to champion complex projects both cross-functionally and vertically within the organization.
  • Able to lead, coach, facilitate and support the sales team’s development.
  • “No task too small” mentality, willing to roll up sleeves and get things done.
  • Resilient and agile, quick to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
