Responsibilities:

To be part of team responsible, for the design, develop and conduct of curriculum development for designated Training Institutes. Conduct the Curriculum Transformation Exercises (CTX) to achieve the desired outcome of a redesigned curriculum that has been iterated via comprehensive instructional design process, incorporating 3rd Gen competencies, and matching them against appropriate instructional and learning strategies and infrastructure capacities.
- Assist in running the CTXs for the Tis together with the embedded Curriculum and Content Development Team (CCDT). They will support and monitor the curriculum transformation process done by the CCDT after each CTX is completed.
- Participate in the planning and design phase to propose concept, design and objectives.
Assist in brief respective team members on the CTX curriculum concept and conduct. Ensure they understood and are prepared for clarification of orders during the CTX. - Assist the CCDT in the Tl to create and/or redesign content and lesson plans by providing advise, inputs, and offer recommendation to address the following areas:
- Shift from instructional to learning paradigm and unidirectional-instructional to interactive stimulating learning approach.
- Replace stove-piped formal learning settings with wider knowledge, learning and performance architecture across the schoolhouses/Tis and the entire ecosystem.
- Appropriate instructional strategies, technology and infrastructural capacities are available to support the CTX.
- Assist in conduct CTX for specialised unit (if any).
Work closely with all other teams in the Management Office and relevant stakeholders to make sure that everyone is informed about all aspects of the project so that unnecessary delays, mistakes, costs, etc. could be avoided. - Perform any other duties and participate in any other projects as assigned/approved by SPO.
- Assist in the development of the SAF Curriculum Framework, including the study and adaptation of new pedagogies that will be relevant to the SAF.
Participate in relevant periodic and ad-hoc meetings and conferences required to fulfil the job scope. - Ensure that all security regulations and guidelines are adhered to by the whole team.
Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, and quality management

Requirements:

Diploma in any Management Science, with a minimum Diploma in Adult Continuation Education or possess equivalent or higher qualification by an accredited training institution or Institution of Higher Learning.

At least 1-2 years related working experience in curriculum design.
