Operations Engineer

Responsibilities:

• In-house Chemical Analysis and re-check after chemical top up.
• Calculate the amount to replenish, solution change, and chemical top up.
• Manage Monthly Chemical Inventory in the laboratory and update inventory list.
• Managing of the chemical laboratory.
• Manage Monthly Chemical Inventory  for production chemicals (POL store).
• Carry out in-house periodic testing (thickness, adhesion, chisel test, porosity and hardness)
• 5S in the laboratory
• Prepare the samples and arrange with vendors to collect samples for external lab analysis testing according to specified frequency.
• Monitor test results of Hydrogen Embrittlement and Salt Spray test samples (out-house tests).
• Administrative paper work as required.

Period

• Contract (6 Months) – Maternity Cover

Location:

• Loyang Drive

Salary:

• Up to $4500 + Bonus

Working Hours:

• Monday to Fridays: 8am to 5.30pm

Requirements:

• Relevant work experience preferred
• Degree/ diploma in Chemical Engineering or related disciplines
• Independent and self-motivated
• With experience handling nickel, chrome and cadmium test analysis
• Able to handle lab apparatus, doing titration, diluting of chemicals etc
