Assembly Technician (Production)

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and perform functional test of SMT machine/modules in a cell/modules station to meet or exceed daily output target and quality expectation
• Perform task given within designed time with the aid of work instructions or guidance from the R&D or process engineering team
• Follow the protocols and adhere to the safety standards, as part of the assembly team
• Perform machine conversion
• Understand and carry out simple assembly adjustments
• Troubleshoot and repair machines problems as and when required
• Understand the production planning schedule and generate output as per specifications
• Assist Supervisors/Engineers to analyse quality concerns
• Participate in CIP and works towards improving productivity in work area
• Perform 6S and any other adhoc duties
• Ensure housekeeping and upkeeping

Period:

• 1 Year Contract

Location:   

• Yishun

Salary:

• Up to $2,800 + Completion Bonus + Variable Bonus + Medical benefits

Working hours:

• Monday – Friday: 8.30am to 6pm

Requirements:

• Min Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in engineering field
• Min 3 years of working experience in a machine assembly environment
• Professional technical experience in machine assembly or automation
• Able to work and communicate with colleagues within the company and externally
• Able to meet the quality deliveries in accordance to work procedures and scope of deliveries
• Able to maintain work, health and safety standards and practices
