Finance Associate (AP)

Job Descriptions:

• Perform Accounts Payable and other adhoc duties
• Perform accounting duties such as batching, reconciliation
• Process payments and claims
• Create and maintain vendor records in the accounting system
• Create vendor invoices in the accounting system
• Participate in month end and year end closing activities
• Participate in innovation/service improvement projects
• Ensure all payments/invoices/vendor records are accurate and updated in a timely manner
• Ensure accounting payables tasks are performed in line with SOP procedures

Period:

• 2 Years

Location:

• Commonwealth

Working Hours:

• Mon-Fri: 8.30am-6pm

Salary:

• Up to $2,400 + Performance Bonus

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Accountancy or Finance / LCCI higher Accounting / CAT
• At least 2 to 3 years of Finance experience, preferably in Accounts Payable
• Past experience in government ministries and statutory boards would be considered favourable
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• High level of initiative and mindset of continuous improvement
• Meticulous, detail oriented and organised
• Independent, resourceful, team player, results driven and customer-focused
• Tech-savvy with good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel
• Experience in using SAP/Workday is an added advantage
