Finance Executive

- Up to $3,400 + Bonus

Job Descriptions:

You will undertake a supervisory role and be expected to manage a team of assistants. The primary responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Validate the completeness and accuracy of payments by ensuring that all supporting documents are in order.
  • Monitor integrity of system processes by conducting sampling of transactions to ensure payments are in order.
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions in accordance with documented processes.
  • Ensure that transactional accounting postings to general ledgers are accurate for the purpose of charging to the correct expense accounts.
  • Ensure prepayment, accruals and all liabilities are taken up in the books timely for effective and accurate financial reporting.
  • Review and provide data and information for periodic management reporting and to provide support for external Financial Audit Management.
  • Assess and propose changes to the processes, procedures and systems to achieve high level of efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participate in system designs and conduct user acceptance test to ensure that system design meets the operational requirements.
  • Work closely with IT & relevant parties to resolve payment related issues and ensure payment timeliness.
  • Develop, coach and motivate members of the team to deliver effective, responsive and customercentric service to customers.
  • Set annual targets for member of the team and monitor progress.

Salary

  • Up to $3,400 + Bonus

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economics or Accountancy, and/or professional certifications or other equivalent qualifications.
  • Diploma holder with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience may also apply.
  • Candidates with 2 years of experience in performing Full Sets of Accounts and with Accounts background or equivalent professional qualifications will have an advantage.
  • On the job training will be provided.
  • A positive attitude with initiative is essential.
  • A team player with leadership attribute and good interpersonal skills.
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills with good public speaking skills and ability to coach.
  • Must be able to review and respond to changes and able to adapt to dynamic, quickly changing service environment.
  • Strong organizational, administrative and time management skills.
  • Meticulous, with an eye for details.
  • Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage
