Senior Mechanical Designer

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for research and development work.
• Design machine based on project specifications.
• Generate layout drawings, design approval drawings, mechanical assembly drawings, detailed dimensional drawings, pneumatic circuit and BOM lists.
• Do up technical drawing by using solidwork
• Update design progress to department head.
• Create operation and maintenance manual for machines designed.
• Work independently to complete robotic projects and other given tasks within the given timeline.
• Liaise with suppliers on components selection and quotation.
• Train, supervise and assist with Mechanical Designer.
• Guide and check technical drawing from the junior
• Provide technical support and solutions to sales inquiry.
• Confidently handle automation project
• Be familiar with robotics solution

Contractual Period:

• Permanent

Location:

• Woodlands

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday (8.30am to 6pm)

Salary:

• Up to $4,800

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 – 6 years of experience of factory automation design experience
• Proficient in 3D modelling software
• Proven ability to complete tasks given independently
• Proficiency in Mandarin to liaise with Chinese customers or suppliers.
• With leadership or HOD experience will be an added advantage
