Electrical & Instrumentation Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot/repair/maintenance/calibrate/install of plants, facilities electrical system and equipment
• Maintain, update and label of line diagram & label in the control panels/DB/MSB.
• Establish and manage the maintenance plan of electrical, instruments, calibration, interlock, emergency shutdown button.  
• Require performing mechanical maintenance duties
• Coordinate and liaise with electrical contractor work schedule
• Perform housekeeping activities for the work area
• Any other tasks assigned by the Facilities Manager

• Tuas

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday (8.30am - 5.30pm)

Salary:

• Up to $4000 + AWS + Incentives

Job Requirements:

• Higher Nitec/ Diploma in engineering and/or equivalent discipline
• With 2 – 5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing industry
• Have knowledge in thermal scanning and arc flash awareness
• Ability to read electrical schematics, manuals, SOP, ISO, PID and perform documentation.
• Require wearing minimum Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office & Teams
• LEW (Electrician grade) and knowledge in local electrical code will be an added advantage
• Proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment independently and in teams
