Application Support Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist and respond promptly to incident, investigate & provide temporary &/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.
- Day-to-day monitoring and maintenance of application systems
- Implement corrective actions identified to improve performance & availability of system.
- Perform application setup, deployment and maintenance
- Provide operating guidance, training and troubleshooting documents to internal and external parties.
- Maintenance of application documents
- Assist with generating of application reports
- Support system testing and evaluation activities including User Acceptance Test
- Writing scripts/programs for service monitoring and health check of all systems
- Perform data cleanup operations using database querying language
Period:
- Contract up to 2 years
Location:
- Novena
Working Hours:
- 8:30am – 6.00pm, Monday – Friday

- Based on qualification
Requirement
- Diploma / Degree in Electronics Engineering / Communication Engineering / Computer Engineering / Computer Science / IT
- At least 1 year application support experience with Microsoft TSQL experience
- Must be Singaporean
- Quick learner with the ability to pick up new technology from scratch
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to take after office hours standby duties of one week per month
- Experience in coding or scripting languages such as bash, windows batch, perl, python, etc.
