Robotics Systems Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Work within the maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) department to provide maintenance, repair, overhaul services, technical assistance in robotic system deployments, troubleshoot issues with deployments and be a point of contact for escalated technical issues from clients and onsite engineering staff
• Collaborate with Technical and Support teams on product issues
• Work with cross-functional teams on resolving complex technical issues
• Provide superior customer service to all clients, internal and external
• Actively and continuously update technical skills

Period:

• 2 Year Contract 

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday

Requirements

• Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Robotics (or a related discipline), or equivalent professional experience
• Strong, demonstrable experience with ROS and Linux environment preferably
• Ability to communicate technical/ complex information both verbally and in writing
• Perform multiple tasks concurrently and respond to emergency situations effectively
• Prefer candidate to have experiences in ROS and related areas, along with strong interpersonal skills to manage interactions with customers, vendors and on-site staff
• This high-visibility role will provide the opportunity to work will all technical groups within our organization, and provide a career path into leading a team of technicians
• Willing to work shift and standby for activation to customer site after office hours or on weekend
