Research Associate

Duties:

• Coordinating data collection at schools
• Planning and supervising the work of temporary research assistants
• Facilitating data analysis using various software tools such as RStudio and STATA
• Supporting the writing and publication of academic journals or books
• Performing any additional project-related duties assigned by the principal investigator (PI) and co-principal investigators (Co-PIs)

Duration:

• Oct 2024 to May 2025 (with possibility of extension by another 6-12 months, depending on business needs)

Location:

• Main Office at Clementi, Hybrid arrangement may be possible

• Depending on how the project progresses, might have to work on-site at different locations in singapore with ability to claim for taxi fare

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm 

Salary:

• up to $4500 /month

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Statistics, AI, Business Analytics or equivalent. Those with Bachelor’s (with Honours) with very strong data analysis skills may also be considered.
• Some prior experience in research-related work
• Good proficiency in spoken and written
• Proficiency in R or Python programming languages
• Proficiency in most word processing and spreadsheet software
• Data management & data analysis skills and collaborative skills
• Knowledge in longitudinal analysis (advantageous but not required)
• Ability to work in a team as well as with external partners
• Initiative and self-motivation
