Downstream Architect

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the system architecture of the enterprise-wide Data Analytics Platform.
• Work with internal and external system architects and technicians to keep the architecture of the Data Analytics Platform healthy and elastic.
• Manage the lifecycle of the Data Analytics Platform and maintain plans for the next 5 years.
• Proactively understand the demand from business users and factor them into the architecture enhancement plans.
• Monitor the system performance of the Data Analytics Platform to always meet the service levels.
• Keep the Data Analytics Platform stable and maximize the availability.
• Manage the Processes and Guidelines on Data Governance.

Salary:

• Up to $8000 + 1 month contract Completion Bonus

Working Hours: 

•  Mon to Fri: 9am – 6pm

Period: 

• 1 Year Contract (Convertable to permanent based on performance)

Location: 

• Far East Square

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience
• Experience to design and implement a modern Data Analytics Platform in Google Cloud and similar BI experiences.
• Architect level technical knowledge of relational databases, DataLake and Google Cloud BigQuery
• Architect level technical knowledge of Looker and other BI Tools
• Administrator level knowledge of Collibra or other Data Governance Tool
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
