Technician, Supplier Quality (Supplier Management Department)

Responsibilities:

The Technician, supplier quality is responsible for inspection of new part, and advance inspection planning for NPI projects. He / She is also the interface between the internal factories globally in terms of material quality. The incumbent is required to work closely with supplier quality engineers in Asia and Europe.

• First article, Incoming inspection on mechanical and electrical parts
• Support R&D for prototype inspection
• Internal calibration for gages, jigs, and fixture
• CMM programming for new parts
• GOM or other optical inspection for prototype parts
• Supplier Source Audit
• Assist Engineer in non-conformance management.
• Training intern
• Ensure supplier uses the right equipment for inspection.
• Other admin work related to supplier quality that include purchase request

Period:

• 1 year contract (renewable and convertible to perm depending on performance and company headcount)

Location:

• Yishun

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday 8am – 5.30pm or 8.30am – 6pm

Salary:

• Up to $2500 + VB + Completion Bonus

Job Requirements:

• Diploma, ITE (with relevant experience), preferably Mechanical / Electrical engineering
• Proficient in English  
• Minimum of 2 years of similar experience in original equipment manufacturer / contract manufacturing.
• CMM Programming skill, preferably Zeiss
• Drawing knowledge preferably Advanced Geometrical Dimension and Tolerancing knowledge
• Preferably inspection knowledge on PCBA, cable and other electrical parts
• Able to travel to supplier in Singapore, Johor Bahru in Malaysia.
• Calibration process knowledge
