Wine Marketing Representative

Job Description:

• Conduct wine sampling to promote our wines to customers.
• Explain the features and qualities of the wines, and answer any questions they may have
• Provide excellent customer service by being friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable
• Assist customers in selecting wines based on their preferences and offer recommendations.
• Set up an attractive and inviting wine sampling area in the supermarket. Ensure the display is well-organized, clean, and visually appealing
• Arrange bottles, glasses, tasting notes, and any promotional materials in an appealing manner
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding alcohol sales and sampling. Verify the age of customers to prevent serving alcohol to minors. 
• Actively promote and upsell featured wines to customers. Encourage customers to purchase the wines they have sampled by highlighting their unique qualities, special offers, or discounts
• Monitor and restock wine inventory for sampling purposes. Communicate with the supermarket staff to ensure sufficient stock is available
• Follow proper hygiene and safety protocols when handling and serving wine. Maintain cleanliness and cleanliness standards in the sampling area, including regularly cleaning glasses and surfaces. 
• Maintain records of wine samples served, customer feedback, and any relevant sales data. Provide reports or feedback to the supermarket management as required. 
• Stay up to date with new wine releases, industry trends, and changes in the wine market. Attend training sessions or seminars to expand your knowledge and enhance your expertise

Location:

• CS Parkway Parade,
• CS Sentosa Cove
• CS Sime Darby 

Working Hours:

• Thursday-Saturday 3pm - 7pm, Sunday 3pm - 6pm 

Salary:

• $10 per hour, $2 per bottle comission

Requirements:

• The candidate must be presentable and friendly.
