Job Descriptions:
- Promote teamwork and quality service within the team and coordination with the other departments
- Respond to walk-ins, emails, calls and assist with queries and requests
- Oversee residents’ requests and escalation process of defect job tasks
- Monitor due-out apartments
- Ensure smooth check-in and check-out for all residents by:
- Coordinating with the Guest Service Team on daily resident arrivals
- Ensuring arrival apartments are ready before the check in time
- Preparing welcome amenities
- Assist with daily linen operations, equipment and stocking up of residents’ stationery
- Manage stock take and monitor the delivery of ordered items, ensuring they are all accounted for
- Ensure basic procedures are followed by attendants
- Oversee the communication between residents and the Housekeeping Team
- Evaluate residents' satisfaction of the department and assist to implement and review actions on complaints
- Perform related tasks as assigned
- Assist to review standards according to operating procedures and provide support in preparing operational reports to the Management
- Manage room attendants, linen attendants and contractors during daily operations
- Organise and provide on-job-training programmes for employees and train new room attendants
- Inspect apartments and public areas for maintenance and cleanliness, ensuring each section maintains an excellent standard of resident satisfaction
- Ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process for all residents
- Report any damage and maintenance defects to the Engineering Department
- Attend to all residents’ queries and needs, especially those of VIP residents
- Schedule and conduct periodical cleaning programmes
- Perform monthly stock-taking of all linens, uniforms, equipment, supplies and items
- Perform daily checks to ensure no linen or equipment abuse
- Assume cleaning responsibilities when required
- Clean and inspect an allocated number of apartments set by the Housekeeping Supervisor
- Check through the apartment's inventories with residents upon check-in and check-out
- Ensure that cleanliness, proper amenities and literature placement are met according to working procedures and standards
- Report any loss, damage to linen, furniture, fixtures and equipment, and maintenance defects to the Housekeeping Supervisor or the Engineering Department
- Assist to train outsourced room attendants in housekeeping procedures and standards
- Oversee the performance of your assigned outsourced room attendants
- Provide support in daily operations by:
- Replenishing supplies (Eg; drinking glasses, writing supplies and bathroom items)
- Ensuring all equipment is in good working condition
- Attending to residents’ requests
- Assist in monthly linen inventory in your assigned area
- Update status of apartments
- Manage the storing and issuance of linen and uniform
- Ensure that the laundry contractor meets cleanliness standards and deadlines
- Sort, count and record the number of linen and soiled articles
- Examine laundered items to ensure cleanliness and serviceability
- Perform related tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:
- At least 1 year of clerical experience in a hotel is preferred
- At least a higher secondary education, Diploma or an equivalent
- Knowledge in conversational and written English
- Basic IT literacy will be advantageous
