Senior Operation Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide Technical support to Production.
• Capability study on the new LDG setups for the narrow-body aircrafts (i.e. B737Max and A320NEO).
• Submission and liaison with OEM on technical concessions on parts defects without CMM repair scheme or outside of CMM acceptance limits.
• Review CMM/Technical Publication revisions, including AD/SB/SL, create and make changes to the technical routers before incorporation.
• Incorporate good workshop practices for Continuous Improvement initiatives in the LDG workshop.
• Design of toolings/fixtures with the necessary Engineer study to aid the workshop in the repair/overhaul of LDG components/parts.
• Maintaining the currency of bushing technical data sheets and drawings to support fabrication requirements.
• Assisting the Workshop Manager in Value Stream Mapping of the workshop layout to achieve desired efficiency in workflow.
• Periodic Review of the Test & Measuring Equipment maintenance requirement and incorporate Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to reduce equipment downtime.
• Carry out quality review and reliability analysis on high replacement rate parts/component.
• Lead in warranty investigation to determine root cause of failure and recommend suitable preventive measures.
• Provide on-site technical support as required.
• Assisting Workshop Manager in cost analysis of repair/overhaul jobs and identify opportunities on cost-savings initiatives.

Salary:

• Up to $7k

Working Hours: 

• Monday-Friday (8am-530pm)

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Mechatronics Engineering, Supply Chain management or related qualifications.
• Engineering background with past experience in Landing Gear related fields, preferably on B737 and A320 platforms.
• Good knowledge on the Landing Gear overhaul process workflow and rework processes.
• Good working attitude, committed personality and good stress management.
