Lab Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform daily analysis of internal and external samples including urgent analysis requirement.
• Daily calibration/standard preparation, analytical instrument tuning and performance monitoring, perform maintenance/troubleshooting when necessary and keep track on the parts/consumables
• Prepare and/or update SOPs for existing and newly developed analytical method
• Chemical inventory and waste disposal management
• Any other task given by Lab Manager

Period:

• 6 months (renewable)

Working Hours:

• 5 Days Work Week (8.30am – 5.30pm)

Salary:

• Up to $2600

Job Requirements:

• ITE / Diploma Chemistry or chemical related discipline
• Minimum 1 years of experience in chemical manufacturing industry and GC FID TCD
• Knowledge of COA, IQC and FQC
• GC training certificate will be advantageous
• Required to work with chemicals
• Ability to work in cleanroom environment and wear minimum safety PPE
• Comfortable to work in 12 hours shift (0830 – 2030) if required in the future
